Motor lock PE590-50 with Cable EA227

Description: 

ABLOY PE590 is a motor lock with drop piston. This means a unique opportunity to combine requirements for accessibility, fire protection and evacuation. For use with evacuation requirements according to SS-EN 1125. The drop piston is driven to unlock by the built-in motor. Locking occurs automatically/mechanically independent of electric power, which ensures use in doors in fire cells. The PE590 has a drop piston with a spring lock which means it locks out to 20mm. If PE590 is used in the fire cell boundary, the drop piston must be set in the 14 mm position. Opening is controlled by sending minus (-) to control line for the rule. On delivery, the lock is set so that the escape fitting is always engaged. This is a prerequisite for SS-EN 1125. In connection with installation, it is possible to rearrange the lock housing so that it is possible to disconnect the escape function. This is done by sending minus (-) to the control line. In the event of a power failure, the evacuation function is switched on automatically. In this position, the lock is NOT covered by SS-EN 1125

Properties: 

• Mandrel depth of 50 mm
• Same c/c dimension 105mm as module and Connect lock series. However, PE590 differs in the height measurement, see drawing
• The lock is controlled electronically from e.g. a pass system. 
• Mechanical opening with cylinder and panic escape accessory 1142 is always possible. 
• PE590 has the following indications: rule interlocked, pressure detection, cylinder detection (available as an accessory). 
• Indication for use together with door automation: rule inside Indications are not available in the event of a power failure.
• Motor lock PE590 offers several configuration possibilities in a single lock housing.
• Connection cable EA 227 (10 m) included.
• The following mechanical and electromechanical functions can be configured during installation depending on what is needed in terms of function on the object in question: case management, interlock case management, opening time 1-20 seconds.
