ASSA ABLOY 179F is an emergency escape fitting for an outward-opening hinged door in a modular profile design. Can be combined with lock housing 710, 721, 722 or 727 with 50 or 70 mm mandrel depth.
Properties:
- Emergency escape fittings ASSA 179F are certified according to SS-EN 179
- Mounted together with frame housing 710, 721, 722 or 727 with mandrel depth 50/70 mm.
- Suitable for installation in access systems
- The lock housing can be obtained with a microswitch.
- For doors with B/C dimensions less than 25 mm, at least a 3 mm distance plate is recommended 179
Function:
- The door can always be opened from the inside via the escape handle.
- When choosing lock housing 710 or 727, re-occupancy is possible via pressure from the outside after evacuation.
- Lock housing 721, 722 and 727 can be combined with electric end plates
- Authorized passage with a key is possible from both the inside and the outside without affecting the alarm indication.
