STEP 28E Secure is an advanced electric strike with reverse function, specially designed for environments where high demands on security, fire rating and evacuation are met.<\/p>\n
The reverse function means that the leaf is unlocked in the de-energized position, making it ideal for doors that require free passage during a power outage \u2013 for example in public buildings, healthcare facilities or schools.<\/p>\n
The electric strike plate is adapted for bolt locks with 9 mm pistons in the Connect series and is approved for fire resistance up to class E\/EI 60.<\/p>\n
The product is equipped with a piston contact and a latch contact that enables indication of the door's status \u2013 closed\/open and locked\/unlocked \u2013 for integration into access control systems or alarm systems.<\/p>\n
With a breaking strength of over 15 kN and the ability to open despite strip pressure of up to 5 kN, STEP 28E Secure delivers reliable function even in tough environments.<\/p>\n
The robust and sturdy construction comes complete with 5 meters of halogen-free cable, ready for quick and safe installation in right-hand hung doors.<\/p>\n
