The STEP 28E Secure electric strike is a safe and flexible solution for door environments with high demands on intrusion protection, fire resistance and the possibility of evacuation.<\/p>\n
This model is developed for left-hung doors and is used together with bolt locks in the Connect series with a 7 mm piston.<\/p>\n
With the right-handed function (locked in the event of a power failure), it is perfect where maximum safety must be maintained even in the event of a power outage.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the built-in piston contact and latch contact, the door's status can be monitored in real time, making the electric strike suitable for integration with alarm and access control systems.<\/p>\n
The construction can withstand a high breaking strength of over 15 kN and functionality is guaranteed even with a strip pressure of up to 500 kg.<\/p>\n
STEP 28E is certified according to fire class E\/EI 60 and is supplied with a 5 meter halogen-free connection cable.<\/p>\n
This electric strike is often used in combination with emergency escape locks according to SS-EN 179 where fire requirements and door automation must be combined.<\/p>\n
