The STEP 28E Secure electric strike offers a robust solution for environments where security, fire requirements and evacuation must be combined with automatic door control.<\/p>\n
This electric strike is developed for use with bolt locks in the Connect series, especially where a 7 mm bolt is used, and is intended for right-hung doors.<\/p>\n
The right-handed function means that the electric strike is locked in the de-energized position, ensuring that the door remains locked in the event of a power failure \u2013 an important aspect in safety-classified environments.<\/p>\n
STEP 28E Secure is approved for fire resistance up to E\/EI 60 according to applicable standards and is often used in combination with emergency escape locks according to SS-EN 179.<\/p>\n
The electric strike has a built-in piston contact and latch contact for indicating door status, which enables connection to access control systems, alarms or other control systems.<\/p>\n
