The STEP 90 Preload HPR electric strike is developed for environments with high demands on safety, operational reliability and compact installation.<\/p>\n
With a right-facing function (locked in de-energized position) and piston contact, it provides a clear status indication of the door's position - ideal for connection to an access control system or alarm.<\/p>\n
STEP 90 belongs to STEP's Preload series and is equipped with the patented HPR\u00ae strip pressure technology, which guarantees unlocking even if the door is subjected to pressure of up to 250 kg.<\/p>\n
This makes it a very reliable choice in door environments with a high opening frequency.<\/p>\n
It is fire-rated according to E\/EI120 and has a high breaking strength of 1,200 kg. The construction is robust and impact-resistant, while the dimensions are so small that the sheet metal can be easily installed even in tight spaces.<\/p>\n
The product is reversible for both right- and left-hung doors, and fits lock housings in the Connect, Modul and Narrow Profile series.<\/p>\n
