The STEP 18 Secure electric strike is a high-security electric strike designed for environments with high demands on security and reliability.<\/p>\n
With its durable construction and fast operation, it is ideal for doors with intensive use, such as in prisons, banks or other security-classified premises.<\/p>\n
This model is intended for left-hung doors with a 7 mm piston in the Connect series and has a reverse function, which means that the strike plate is unlocked in the event of a power failure \u2013 a function often desired in evacuation environments.<\/p>\n
STEP 18 is approved for security doors up to RC4 and fire class E\/EI60. It is equipped with a piston contact and a latch contact that provides indication of the door status (open\/closed, locked\/unlocked), making it excellent for integration into access control systems or alarms.<\/p>\n
The sheet metal can withstand a breaking strength of 15 kN and a strip pressure of up to 500 kg, which means it opens even under pressure. The included halogen-free 5-meter connection cable and protective diode simplify installation and increase safety.<\/p>\n
