The STEP 18 Secure electric strike is a powerful and reliable electric strike that is developed for environments with very high demands on both security and reliability.<\/p>\n
This model is designed for bolt locks with a 9 mm piston in the Connect series and is adapted for left-hung doors.<\/p>\n
The plate has a reverse function, which means it is unlocked in the de-energized position \u2013 perfect for escape routes where safety should be combined with quick access.<\/p>\n
The product is fire rated up to E\/EI60 and approved for security doors up to RC4, making it particularly suitable for use in, for example, banks, prisons and other high-risk environments.<\/p>\n
STEP 18 is equipped with a piston and latch contact that enables integration into modern access control systems and provides a clear indication of the door's status.<\/p>\n
The patented technology provides a breaking strength of a full 15 kN and the sheet metal opens even with a strip pressure of up to 500 kg.<\/p>\n
A halogen-free 5-meter cable is included, and a protection diode and surge protector provide extra safety in the installation.<\/p>\n
