The STEP 28E Secure electric strike is a reliable electric strike designed for security environments where requirements for intrusion resistance, fire rating and evacuation are combined.<\/p>\n
This model is adapted for right-hung doors with a 9 mm bolt in the Connect series and is used together with a deadbolt lock or deadbolt lock for maximum locking effect.<\/p>\n
With its reverse function, the electric strike plate remains locked in the de-energized position \u2013 a safety feature that protects the door in the event of a power failure.<\/p>\n
It is certified according to fire protection class E\/EI 60 and is an excellent choice for installations where doors are to be combined with door automation or pull handles.<\/p>\n
STEP 28E is equipped with both a plunger switch and a latch switch, which enables accurate monitoring of the door status (open\/closed and locked\/unlocked) via access control systems or alarm systems.<\/p>\n
The robust construction withstands a breaking strength of over 15 kN and also works with strip pressures of up to 500 kg.<\/p>\n
