With its compact design, it is particularly suitable for installation in spaces that need to be locked with a knob or key, and where the door's functionality needs to be flexible \u2013 for example, in commercial premises, offices or school environments.<\/p>\n
Thanks to STEP's patented strip pressure technology, the door can be unlocked even with strip pressure of up to 40 kg, which ensures function even under pressure from sealing strips.<\/p>\n
The reverse function means that the electric strike is unlocked in the event of a power failure, which is important for escape routes, for example.<\/p>\n
STEP 98 is tested and certified according to fire class E\/EI 120 and has a breaking strength of 9 kN. Built-in piston switch provides indication of the door status \u2013 closed or open \u2013 for smooth integration with access control systems and alarm installations.<\/p>\n
