STEP 28E Secure is a powerful and reliable electric strike that meets high requirements for safety, fire protection and function in escape routes.<\/p>\n
It is specially adapted for left-hung doors and is used with bolt locks with 12 mm piston in the Modul series.<\/p>\n
With its reverse function \u2013 locked in the event of a power failure \u2013 it ensures effective protection even in the event of a power outage.<\/p>\n
This electric strike is fire rated up to E\/EI 60 and is well suited for installations where emergency evacuation according to SS-EN 179 is to be combined with door automation or other safety requirements.<\/p>\n
With a built-in piston and latch contact, it provides signals about the door status (open\/closed) and lock status (locked\/unlocked) to access control systems, alarm systems or other control systems.<\/p>\n
