STEP 18 Secure is a robust electric strike with reverse function and the highest security class. Suitable for left-hung doors with bolt locks (7 mm) in the Connect series and includes a plunger and latch contact.<\/p>\n
The STEP 18 Secure electric strike is designed for door environments with very high demands on security, function and operational reliability.<\/p>\n
This electric strike is particularly suitable for installation in doors with many daily entrances and exits \u2013 for example, security doors in public buildings, prisons, authorities and banks.<\/p>\n
The reverse function means that the plate is unlocked in the de-energized position, which is a common requirement in evacuation environments.<\/p>\n
STEP 18 is tested and approved according to RC4 and is fire rated up to E\/EI 60. It is equipped with microswitches that provide both a plunger contact and a latch contact, enabling indication of both door and lock status.<\/p>\n
This makes the sheet metal fully integrable in access control systems and alarm systems. With a breaking strength of a whopping 15 kN (approximately 1500 kg) and a strip pressure resistance of 500 kg, STEP 18 offers exceptional durability and security.<\/p>\n
This plate is intended for bolt locks with a 7 mm piston in the Connect series, is supplied with a 5 meter halogen-free connection cable and is suitable for left-hung doors.<\/p>\n
