The STEP 29 Silent electric strike is designed to combine high security with silent and smooth operation in door environments with high demands.<\/p>\n
With STEP's patented Silent technology, this electric strike offers virtually silent operation \u2013 perfect for environments where quiet operation is crucial, such as healthcare, offices or public spaces.<\/p>\n
STEP 29 is adapted for bolt locks and has a reverse function, which means that it is locked in the event of a power failure.<\/p>\n
Regardless of whether the door is opened electrically, manually with a knob or key, relocking is always ensured when the door is closed.<\/p>\n
This is done through a unique mechanism where the bolt first goes to the half-locked position and then extends to its full length (20 mm) when the door is closed.<\/p>\n
With a breaking strength of a whopping 12 kN and tested to withstand strip pressure of up to 5 kN, STEP 29 meets tough safety requirements.<\/p>\n
The product is fire rated according to E\/EI 60 and comes with 5 meters of halogen-free cable. Built-in piston and latching contact enables integration with access control systems and alarm solutions.<\/p>\n
