Electric strike STEP 28E Secure is a high-performance electric strike developed for security-classified installations where high demands are placed on intrusion protection, fire safety and the possibility of evacuation.<\/p>\n
The plate is used together with bolt locks with a 9 mm piston in the Connect series, and is intended for right-hung doors with reverse function - which means that it is locked in the de-energized position.<\/p>\n
The product is fire rated up to E\/EI 60 and is therefore ideal in door environments with emergency evacuation functions according to SS-EN 179, where the combination of fire requirements, door automation and safety is crucial.<\/p>\n
STEP 28E has built-in microswitches to detect the status of the door and lock.<\/p>\n
These signals can be connected to access control systems, alarm systems or other monitoring.<\/p>\n
The electric strike plate has a high breaking strength of over 15 kN and also functions under strip pressure of up to 500 kg.<\/p>\n
The construction is knock-proof, robust and made of stainless steel. A 5-meter halogen-free cable is included as standard.<\/p>\n
