STEP 48 Preload is an electric strike with reverse function, designed to ensure security in spaces that are locked with a knob or key.<\/p>\n
Equipped with a piston contact and protection diode, as well as a breaking strength of 9 kN (approx. 900 kg).<\/p>\n
Electric strike STEP 48 Preload is a high-security electric strike that is ideal for doors in spaces that require locking with a knob or key.<\/p>\n
To provide extra security and functionality, it is possible to install a bolt indicator (ST4880), which can be used to block the door's access system or door automation when the lock housing's hook bolt or straight bolt has been mechanically unlocked.<\/p>\n
This electric strike is equipped with STEP's patented strip pressure technology, which allows the door to be unlocked even if it is subjected to pressure of up to 40 kg.<\/p>\n
With a breaking strength of 9 kN (approx. 900 kg) and the ability to open despite a strip pressure of 0.4 kN (approx. 40 kg) in both forward and reverse operation, STEP 48 Preload offers both safety and reliability.<\/p>\n
The built-in piston switch provides indication of door status (closed\/open), making it easy to integrate with access control systems and other security solutions.<\/p>\n
