The STEP 98 Preload electric strike is a reliable electric strike from STEP's Preload series - designed for door environments where function, security and easy installation are the focus.<\/p>\n
With the right-handed function (locked in the event of a power failure), it is ideal for doors that are locked with a knob or key, for example in apartment buildings, offices or technical rooms.<\/p>\n
The electric strike is fire-rated according to E\/EI120 and can be unlocked even if the door is exposed to strip pressure of up to 40 kg, thanks to STEP's patented strip pressure technology.<\/p>\n
It is also tamper-proof, has a built-in protection diode and is reversible for both right- and left-hung doors.<\/p>\n
STEP 98 is compatible with both single and double-latch locks, as well as with emergency escape locks where manual locking is required.<\/p>\n
It is also possible to supplement with the ST4880 bolt indicator, which enables automatic blocking of the access system when the hook bolt or straight bolt has been locked out.<\/p>\n
