Electric strike STEP 48 Preload is an electric strike that combines high security with a compact design, excellent for doors that are locked with a knob or key.<\/p>\n
It is equipped with STEP's patented strip pressure technology, which allows the door to be opened even when exposed to strip pressure of up to 40 kg, providing safe and reliable function in everyday use.<\/p>\n
With the right-handed function \u2013 locked in a de-energized position \u2013 and an operating voltage of 24V, STEP 48 meets safety requirements in, for example, apartment entrances, interior doors, passage doors or technical spaces.<\/p>\n
It is reversible to fit both right- and left-hung doors and can be used to unlock both hook bolts and straight bolts.<\/p>\n
The electric strike is equipped with a piston contact that provides an indication of the door's status (open\/closed), making it easy to connect to an access control system or alarm.<\/p>\n
It is also tamper-proof, has a built-in protection diode and is compatible with the optional lock indicator ST4880, which makes it possible to automatically block door automation or code locks when mechanically locked.<\/p>\n
