This variant is adapted for left-hung doors with a 7 mm piston in the Connect series and delivers outstanding intrusion protection combined with fast and reliable function.<\/p>\n
With the right-handed function (locked in the de-energized position), the electric strike is ideal for security-rated doors where passage is only permitted during energized operation.<\/p>\n
The product is fire-approved up to E\/EI60 according to SS-EN 14846 and approved for locking doors in RC4 security class.<\/p>\n
STEP 18 is equipped with both a plunger switch and a latch switch, which provides clear status indication (open\/closed, locked\/unlocked) and enables seamless integration with access control systems and alarm solutions.<\/p>\n
It can withstand strip pressure up to 5 kN (500 kg) and has a breaking strength of 15 kN (1500 kg), making it ideal for environments where both robustness and performance are required.<\/p>\n
