Electric strike STEP 98Preload is a high-quality electric strike from STEP's Preload series, designed to offer flexibility, security and operational reliability in door environments where a knob or key is used for locking.<\/p>\n
The switchable function makes it possible to easily switch between forward (locked in the event of a power failure) and reverse function (unlocked in the event of a power failure) \u2013 perfect for changing safety needs or operating environments.<\/p>\n
With a built-in piston contact, the electric strike can indicate door status (open\/closed), which enables connection to an access control system or alarm system.<\/p>\n
STEP 98 is also fire rated according to E\/EI 120, making it suitable for door environments where both safety and evacuation requirements must be met.<\/p>\n
