STEP 18 Secure from STEP's Secure series is an electric strike developed for door environments with extremely high security requirements.<\/p>\n
It is particularly suitable for right-hung doors with a 7 mm piston in the Connect series, and is used in environments where the door should be able to be opened frequently but with maintained intrusion resistance.<\/p>\n
With the right-handed function \u2013 which means that the sheet is locked without power \u2013 reliable protection is provided even in the event of a power outage.<\/p>\n
The product is fire rated up to E\/EI60 and tested according to SS-EN 14846, which makes it approved for installation in security doors up to RC4.<\/p>\n
STEP 18 is equipped with a built-in plunger switch and latch switch, which enables precise monitoring of the door status (open\/closed, locked\/unlocked) and provides full compatibility with access control systems and alarms.<\/p>\n
The electric strike plate has a breaking strength of 15 kN (1500 kg) and can be opened despite a strip pressure of up to 500 kg.<\/p>\n
The included 5 meter halogen-free connection cable, built-in protection diode and knock protection make STEP 18 a robust, safe and future-proof choice.<\/p>\n
