STEP 130 has exactly the same great features and technologies as STEP 110.<\/div>\n

The difference between the two electric push locks is that the STEP 130 has an automatic piston that folds when the door is opened electrically.<\/div>\n

The dual function of the automatic piston<\/b><\/div>\n
The automatic piston gives the electric end plate a double function.<\/div>\n
When the door is opened with pressure, the STEP 130 works just like a normal electric pressure lock with a drop piston.<\/div>\n
When the door is opened electrically, the automatic piston can fold, thus enabling opening with automatic door operation.<\/div>\n
Immediately after the door is opened, the automatic piston extends, locks into position and functions as a regular drop piston again.<\/div>\n

Fire retention and high wear resistance<\/b><\/div>\n
Because the automatic piston looks like a regular drop piston, it can distribute the wear resistance over its entire surface.<\/div>\n
It also ensures that fire containment is maintained, even if a gap should arise between the piston and the striker plate.<\/div>\n
This, in combination with STEP Strip Pressure Technology, means that STEP 130 can withstand high strip pressure and ensures high operational reliability.<\/div>\n
