The brake allows the window or door to stay in an open position. <strong>ventilation mode<\/strong> instead of closing or opening completely.<\/p>\n<p>It is operated via the espagnolette handle. When the handle is in the closed position, friction is created in the brake, which holds the sash in the desired ventilation position. When the handle is opened, the sash is allowed to move freely.
