ASSA Fix 160 window brake for patio door and window<\/h1>\r\n

ASSA Fix 160<\/strong> has a 20 mm wide rectangular brake box and a detachable frame bracket<\/strong> \u2013 the bracket with the knob that allows the arm to be disconnected. Always check the profile, bracket, exact length and left\/right.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

  1. Measure the profile:<\/strong> The brake housing must be 20 mm wide and rectangular.<\/li>\r\n \t
  2. Check the bracket:<\/strong> It must be detachable. The arm can be released from the bracket using the knob.<\/li>\r\n \t
  3. Measure the whole brake housing:<\/strong> from one end of the straight box to the other. Do not include the box axle, brake pin or arm.<\/li>\r\n \t
  4. Check the direction:<\/strong> hold the opening upwards, the brake housing towards you and the locking pin away from you<\/strong>. The pin to the left = left; the pin to the right = right. The hinges do not determine this.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\nNot the same as Fix 160S:<\/strong> Fix 160S<\/a> also features a child-safety locking mechanism and operating device.
