STEP 18 Secure is a high-security electric strike with right-handed function for left-hung doors. Adapted for 12 mm piston in the Modul series. Fire-rated E/EI60, with piston contact and 5 meter cable.

The STEP 18 Secure electric strike is a powerful electric strike in STEP's Secure series – specially developed for door environments where security, reliability and fast openings are crucial.

This model is adapted for bolt locks with a 12 mm piston in the Modul series and is installed in left-hung doors.

With the right-handed function, the electric strike is locked in the de-energized position, which is suitable for security-rated doors where unauthorized passage must be prevented in the event of a power outage.

The product is fire rated up to E/EI60 and approved for RC4-rated security doors according to current standards.

Thanks to the piston contact and latch contact, full monitoring of the door's status (open/closed, locked/unlocked) is possible, making the electric strike perfect for integration with access control systems and alarm solutions.

With a breaking strength of 15 kN (1500 kg) and the ability to open despite strip pressure of up to 5 kN (500 kg), STEP 18 is built for intensive use in high-throughput environments.

The product is delivered complete with a 5 meter halogen-free connection cable, has a built-in protection diode, is shockproof and optimized to handle both forward and reverse function.
