The TES3 smoke cartridge is specially developed for use with the Testifire XTR2 multi-criteria tester and enables accurate and compliant testing of smoke detectors.

By simulating real fire smoke, function and response can be verified reliably, without exposing users or the environment to risks.

Realistic smoke – without residue

TES3 contains a glycerol-based gel that is heated in the Testifire XTR2 and emits smoke that effectively activates both optical and ionizing smoke detectors.

After the test is complete, the smoke is completely vented away and leaves no residue in the detector, minimizing the need for post-processing and cleaning.

Adapted for documented testing

In combination with the Testifire XTR2 app and cloud portal, each test can be automatically logged in real time.

This provides fire managers, installers and property owners with clear documentation and traceability that meets applicable requirements for supervision and self-inspection.
