Mains-powered testing of heat detectors

The VD‑tester Solo 424 is a professional test tool for functional testing of heat detectors in fire alarm systems.

By connecting directly to 230 V mains power, you get a stable and continuous heat supply during testing, eliminating the need for batteries and charging.

Simple and accurate testing

The tool is used together with Solo 101, Solo 108 and/or Solo 100 access poles to reach detectors up to approximately 9.3 m above ceiling height.

The transparent test cup is placed over the detector and heats up in a controlled manner, allowing you to see the indicator LED and verify that the detector is responding correctly.

This is important to ensure functioning fire protection during installation, service and periodic inspection.
