SecureX GasShield – smart gas detector for methane and LPG
SecureX GasShield is a fast and reliable gas detector that protects homes, holiday homes and businesses against dangerous gas leaks. It is developed for early detection of both natural gas (methane, CH₄) and LPG (gasoline) and clearly warns before the gas reaches dangerous levels.
When gas is detected, a loud alarm sound of ≥80 dB together with a clear LED indicator. At the same time, the alarm is forwarded to SecureX Hub, which handles the alarm centrally in the system.
All events and notifications are displayed in The Stonehouse Smart app, where you get full control and real-time information directly on your mobile phone.

GasShield uses advanced diffusion technology to react quickly to a gas leak – before the gas has time to accumulate and cause a fire or explosion hazard. This makes the sensor particularly suitable for environments where gas is used daily or where supervision is not always carried out.

Connect power, wait for the device to warm up (approximately 180 seconds), put the hub into pairing mode and add the device via the Stonehouse Smart app.
What do I do if I don't receive any notification when an alarm occurs?
Make sure the device is connected to the SecureX hub and that app notifications are enabled. Also, make sure the hub has internet access and that the correct user has notification permissions.
What do I do if it won't pair?
Place the device near the hub and try again. Make sure the hub is in pairing mode and that you have not already added the device to the system.
What do I do if the range feels short?
Place the sensor closer to the hub and avoid obstacles/metal between the devices or purchase SecureX SignalMax.
What do I do if I get irregular alarms?
Ventilate the area and check for gas or vapors that may affect the sensor. Do not place the unit near strong vapors from sprays or chemicals and ensure proper mounting.
