Ajax MultiTransmitter Multi transmitter is a powerful and reliable wireless device that makes it possible to connect wired detectors and sensors to Ajax security systems. This allows older wired central devices to be easily integrated into a modern wireless system.

The MultiTransmitter is particularly useful for properties where existing wired detectors are to be modernized without replacing the entire system.

With 18 section inputs, supporting connection types such as NO (Normally Open), NC (Normally Closed), EOL (End of Line), 2EOL and 3EOL, the MultiTransmitter can connect a variety of types of wired detectors and sensors.

This makes it very flexible and adaptable to many different security needs. The unit also has outputs to supply power to the connected detectors, making installation smooth and efficient.

The MultiTransmitter is designed to be used with all Ajax hubs, and it communicates wirelessly with the system via the Jeweler protocol.

It has a range of up to 2000 meters in open terrain, making it suitable for both small and large installation areas.

In addition, the MultiTransmitter has two tamper protections to protect against sabotage.

It is also equipped with a battery backup that provides up to 4 days of operation in the event of a power outage.

This means that the system continues to function even under unforeseen situations.

With the latest firmware version (2.13.0 or higher), resistance values of connected detectors can be measured automatically, which facilitates the installation and configuration of the system.

Detectors and devices connected to the MultiTransmitter can be individually programmed via the Ajax app, making the system even more user-friendly and flexible.

Ajax MultiTransmitter is an integration module that makes it possible to connect third-party wired detectors and devices to an Ajax alarm system.
What type of product is MultiTransmitter?
This is an advanced integration product intended for professional installers. It is used to integrate existing or specialized wired sensors into the Ajax system.
How many wired devices can be connected?
Up to 18 wired zones can be connected, with each zone typically used for one detector or device.
What connection types are supported?
MultiTransmitter supports NC, NO, EOL, 2EOL and 3EOL (depending on firmware and hub version).
What types of wired detectors can be connected?
It can be used for motion detectors, magnetic contacts, glass breakage, fire, gas and water detectors, panic buttons and technical sensors.
Can the MultiTransmitter supply power to connected detectors?
Yes, it can deliver 10.5–15 V DC to connected detectors, with a total maximum load of 1 A.
Does the MultiTransmitter have a spare battery?
Yes, it can be equipped with an external 12 V backup battery (not included), which provides operation during power outages.
How does MultiTransmitter communicate with the Ajax system?
It communicates wirelessly with the Ajax hub via the Jeweller protocol with a range of up to approximately 2000 meters in a clear line of sight.
Can MultiTransmitter be used with camera detectors?
No, MultiTransmitter is only used for wired third-party devices and not for camera detectors.
Is MultiTransmitter compatible with all Ajax hubs?
It is compatible with Hub Plus, Hub 2, Hub 2 (4G), Hub 2 Plus and Superior Hub Hybrid (requires correct OS version).
Can MultiTransmitter be used without an Ajax hub?
No, it does not work standalone and requires a compatible Ajax hub.
Do you help with wiring diagrams and installation?
No. We cannot help with wiring diagrams, connection or troubleshooting. This is an advanced product that requires professional knowledge and should be installed by a qualified installer.
Why don't you provide clutch assistance?
Since third-party detectors vary greatly and incorrect connection can cause malfunctions, false alarms or damage. All connection is made according to the manufacturer's documentation and is the installer's responsibility.
Does MultiTransmitter work for private individuals?
It is primarily intended for businesses, properties and professional installations. For regular installations, wireless Ajax detectors are recommended. But is of course possible for the handyman.
