Ajax StreetSiren is a powerful outdoor wireless siren that makes a triggered alarm both audible and clearly visible. It is suitable for villas, garages, shops, offices, warehouses and other locations where an external siren is intended to deter and attract attention to the location.
The siren communicates wirelessly with a compatible Ajax hub via the radio protocol Jeweler. Settings such as sound level, alarm time and LED indication are managed in the Ajax app.
Adjustable sound level and clear LED frame
The sound level can be set between 85 and 113 dB. This makes it possible to adapt the siren to the size and environment of the installation. The alarm time can be set from approximately 3 seconds to 3 minutes.
The integrated LED frame provides a clear visual indication in the event of an alarm. Depending on the system settings, the LED indication can also be used to display the status of the alarm system.
Batteries are included and pre-installed
StreetSiren comes with 4 CR123A lithium batteries which are already mounted in the device. The estimated battery life is up to 5 years, Depending on settings, temperature, signal strength and how often the siren is activated.
If necessary, external 12 V DC power supply connected. The power adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.
Simple wireless installation
The batteries are pre-installed and the siren is mounted using the SmartBracket. Add the unit to the Ajax app, check the signal strength and mount it in the selected location.
For outdoor use
Protection class IP54 makes the siren suitable for indoor and outdoor installations. The operating temperature is approximately -25 to +60 °C.
Place the siren where it is clearly visible and audible, but avoid places where water can collect or where radio communication is severely obstructed by metal, reinforced concrete or other dense construction.
Tamper protection
StreetSiren has both a sabotage contact and an accelerometer. The system can therefore react if someone tries to open the casing, move the siren, or remove it from its mounting location.
The communication range is up to 1,500 meters in open terrain. The actual range is affected by the building's materials, walls, metal, noise sources, and location.
