What does the weather station measure?
It measures temperature and humidity indoors and outdoors and displays air pressure, moon phase, UV index and weather forecast via the internet.
What does it not measure?
It does not measure wind speed, wind direction or rainfall. For these functions, a more advanced weather station, such as SMK-WEATHER PRO, is recommended.
Is an outdoor sensor included with purchase?
Yes, a wireless temperature and humidity sensor is included in the package.
How many sensors can be connected?
Up to 3 wireless sensors can be connected simultaneously. Each sensor uses its own channel, CH1, CH2 or CH3.
Does it work without WiFi?
Yes, temperature and humidity are displayed even without WiFi. However, WiFi is required for app functions, weather forecast via the internet and automatic time setting.
What app is used?
It works with Stonehouse Smart, Tuya Smart or Smart Life for iOS and Android.
What WiFi is supported?
The weather station supports 2.4 GHz WiFi. Pure 5 GHz networks are not supported.
Can I receive temperature alerts?
Yes, you can set high and low temperature alarms and receive notifications directly on your mobile phone.
How long is the sensor's range?
The sensor has a range of up to approximately 100 meters in a clear line of sight. Walls, metal and other obstacles may reduce the range.
Is the display wireless?
The display is primarily intended to be powered by a power adapter. Batteries can be used as a backup, but WiFi functions require a power adapter.
What batteries are used?
The display uses 3 × AAA batteries as backup. The outdoor sensor uses 2 × AAA batteries. Batteries are not normally included.
