HID Signo 40K Pigtail – RFID card reader with keypad for secure access control

The HID Signo 40K Pigtail is developed for operations with high demands on security and flexible authentication. By combining a contactless RFID reader with an integrated capacitive keypad, it enables both easy login and two-factor authentication.

The larger model is adapted for mounting on a standard junction box or flat wall surfaces and is ideally suited for offices, public authorities, industry, data centres, hospitals and other security-rated environments.

The reader is supplied with Pigtail connection, which provides a quick and smooth installation.

Future-proof communication

Signo 40K supports Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) for encrypted and two-way communication between card readers and access control units. For compatibility with older systems, there is also support for Wiegand.

Bluetooth is also used for easy configuration, remote management and firmware updates via HID Reader Manager.
