The Apollo 58000-600APO Discovery Series Optical Smoke Detector is an advanced device that uses optical and photoelectric technology to detect smoke.

It features a white molded polycarbonate housing and wind-resistant smoke inlets to ensure effective detection even in challenging environments.

The infrared LED emits collimated light every second and the photodiode measures the amount of light scattered by smoke in the detector chamber.
