Door leaf reader NoKey Offline MIF-808 S is supplied without a keyboard, intended for mounting against a cylinder, with a knob on the inside and is suitable for doors with a module/Connect lock. The reader offers a reset function. The reader complies with the Nordic lock standard. The installation does not affect the door at all; instead, it is mounted using the tools you have for conventional cylinder installation and handle mounting. Since all connection and mechanical elements are located on the inside of the door, manipulation and sabotage are made more difficult. NoKey Offline offers the great advantage that they do not require any cable pulling at all – in other words, installation is both smooth and cost-effective. In an Offline system, the cards or tags that transfer permissions to the Offline readers are transmitted in the same way. From the Offline readers, the battery status is also transmitted back to the system when the user passes a Online reader. A battery change can be performed by the user easily on their own, without losing any time or programming. The reader is fully integrated into the R-CARD 5000 system. The NoKey Offline is offered with the reading technology Desfire EV2/Mifare Classic. RCO’s Online reader (Mifare) of a newer model serves as the initiation reader for NoKey Offline, so no separate readers are needed for this purpose. PLEASE NOTE! NoKey Gen2 is completed with a knob on the inside and must be supplemented with a cylinder on the outside together with an appropriate cylinder ring from DormaKaba or HABO, see documentation for suitable cylinder rings. If NoKey is not to be used with a cylinder, the unit must be supplemented with a so-called cylinder plug, E5872211. If the knob is not used, NoKey must be supplemented with a so-called knob plug, E5872210. NoKey Gen2 is only available in black color. Door leaf standard (min/max thickness): 38-80 mm. Door leaf with accessories (min/max thickness): 38-110 mm. Power supply voltage: 5 AA LR-6 batteries (not included). Battery life: Up to 3 years under normal use (up to 100 passengers per day).
