Door hold magnet Eaton 1380-30-D, 24 V DC, 100 kg, 30 cm mounting

Eaton 1380-30-D is a powerful and flexible door hold-down magnet for safely installing fire doors and other swing doors.

The model has a high holding force of 100 kg and comes with a 30 cm long mounting bracket, which makes it possible to place the magnet at an appropriate distance from the wall, floor or ceiling.

The door hold magnet keeps the door open when it is powered with 24 V DC.

When the power is cut, for example via a connected fire alarm system, the door is automatically released so that it can be closed by means of the door closer.

The integrated release button also makes it possible to close the door manually without having to interrupt the power supply to the entire system.

This is practical when the door needs to be temporarily closed during normal operation.

The adjustable magnetic head can be moved within approximately 30 mm and mounted both axially and perpendicular to the fixture.

The design provides great flexibility during assembly and makes the product suitable for wall, floor or ceiling installation.

A built-in detent spring counteracts residual magnetism and ensures that the door is released quickly and reliably when the tension is removed.

The product also has an integrated protection circuit that protects against electrical interference and incorrect polarity.

The robust metal casing is epoxy-lacquered to withstand demanding environments and frequent use.

The mounting base cover hides the mounting screws and gives the installation a clean and professional look. The door holder is supplied complete with a damping anchor plate that is mounted on the door leaf.

The Eaton 1380-30-D is approved according to EN 1155 and is suitable for use in hospitals, hotels, shopping centers, schools, industrial premises and other buildings where fire doors need to be able to remain open in a safe manner.
