HID Signo 40K – RFID card reader with keypad for high-security access control

The HID Signo 40K is designed for high-security businesses where multi-factor authentication is an essential part of the access control system. By combining a contactless RFID reader with an integrated capacitive keypad, users can identify themselves with a card, mobile phone, PIN code or a combination of these.

The larger model is intended for mounting on a standard junction box and is perfect for offices, government agencies, industry, data centers, hospitals and other safety-classified environments.

The reader is supplied with terminal connection for quick and easy installation.

Future-proof communication

Signo 40K supports Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) for encrypted and bidirectional communication between card readers and access controls. For compatibility with existing systems, there is also support for Wiegand.

Bluetooth is also used for easy configuration and firmware updates via HID Reader Manager.
