Kantech ioProx P225XSF is a professional card reader developed for modern access control systems where high security, rapid identification and long service life are key requirements. The compact mullion design makes the reader ideal for mounting on narrow door frames, posts and entrances where installation space is limited.
The card reader uses advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for fast and stable reading of access cards. It is compatible with both 26-bit Wiegand card and Kantech Extended Secure Format (XSF), making it easy to integrate with Kantech's access control systems, door controllers, telephone entry systems and EntraPass software.
The XSF format offers a very high level of security with over 4 billion unique code combinations, which minimises the risk of duplicates and unauthorised copying.
The weather-resistant and vandal-resistant design makes the P225XSF just as suitable outdoors as it is indoors. The card reader is equipped with a two-colour LED indicator and a built-in buzzer that provides clear feedback upon approved or denied passage.
