Area of use: Mounting post in stainless steel for extra strong electric end plates, specially designed for the SapaFront profile system. Used to adapt the attachment of electric end plates to Sapa standard recesses.

When narrow profile locks are used together with SapaFront posts, the locks must be fitted with a 22 mm post.
Fits SapaFront building system 2050 and 2071 inwards.
Intended for aluminum frame.
Function: The choice of post is determined by a number of different factors, which together provide the optimal combination of door/lock/post. One of the most important factors is how the door itself is designed. The material of the frame/door leaf can vary, e.g. wood, aluminum or steel, and the profile of the door (unfolded/folded) must be taken into account.
In order to be able to choose an electric closing plate and mounting post, you must also know the type of mechanical lock used, whether it is a single or double-fall lock, and how large the tongue dimension is between the front edge of the door leaf to the lock's piston.
Special standards for fire rated doors: For doors with fire-technical class EI/E 60, EI/E 30 or EI/E15, simple electrical closing plates must not be used as door retaining fittings. If in doubt regarding the lock/electric strike plate combination in fire-rated doors, contact us or read the Swedish Housing Agency's Building Regulations BBR 94.3 section 5:6214.
