ELATEC TWN4 MultiTech 2 LF HF is a programmable RFID reader and writer for a wide range of card, tag and transponder technologies 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz. The reader also integrates support for NFC.
This product refers to the Black USB version with order code T4BT-FB2BEL6. It is suitable for, among other things, card and tag registration on computers, access control systems, printers, login solutions and other applications where multiple RFID technologies need to be handled with a single reader.

The standard version supports some HID technologies, but additional HID Prox, Indala, iCLASS SE/SR/Elite and SEOS may require Option P, Option PI, TWN4 SIO Card or other special configuration. Therefore, the product should not be described as compatible with all HID cards without verification.
Flexible USB connection
The USB version can be configured for several different modes of operation:
USB keyboard emulation: The reader writes the short number as keyboard data
USB virtual COM port: data is sent via a virtual serial port
CCID / PC/SC 2.01: for compatible smart card applications
