What is SecureX SafeBand?
SecureX SafeBand is a wearable SOS alarm button in a bracelet format that provides extra security. With a push of a button, an alarm is sent via the SecureX hub and you can receive real-time push notifications in the Stonehouse Smart app.
Do I need a SecureX hub to use SafeBand?
Yes. SafeBand is used in conjunction with the SecureX hub and cannot be used standalone.
How does the SOS alarm work?
When you press the large SOS button, an alarm is sent to the SecureX hub, which in turn can send push notifications in real time and trigger actions in the system.
Will I receive notifications on my phone?
Yes, via the SecureX hub you will receive push notifications in the Stonehouse Smart app.
What app is used?
All management and events are displayed in the Stonehouse Smart app via the SecureX hub. Tuya and Smart Life are supported via the hub.

How do I know that the alarm has been sent?
When the SOS button is pressed, an LED indicator lights up, confirming that the alarm has been sent.
Is it comfortable to wear all day?
Yes, the bracelet is made of soft silicone and is designed to be comfortable to wear around the clock.
What applications is SafeBand suitable for?
It is suitable for elderly care and home care, nursing homes and assisted living facilities, private homes and summer houses, as well as personal security in everyday life.
What temperature range can SafeBand handle?
It is designed for −10 °C to +55 °C.

Answer: Zigbee sensors are in sleep mode most of the time and only activate when they need to send information, such as movement, temperature changes or when a door is opened. This provides very low power consumption and long battery life.

Answer: Many Zigbee devices powered by 230V act as repeaters and send the signal to the next device. In this way, a Mesh network is built that provides better coverage and higher stability the more fixed Zigbee devices are installed.

Answer: Most Zigbee devices that are powered by 230V, such as relay modules, dimmers, smart plugs and wall switches, normally work as repeaters. Battery-powered sensors usually do not work as repeaters.
