SecureX VibraSense – vibration sensor with built-in emergency alarm (SOS)

SecureX VibraSense is a sensitive and reliable vibration sensor which protects doors, windows, glass surfaces and other vulnerable objects against burglary and manipulation. The sensor reacts directly to impacts, drilling and break-in attempts and sends an alarm immediately to SecureX Hub, which handles alarms and notifications centrally in the system.

All events are displayed in The Stonehouse Smart app, where you get real-time push notifications and full control over security – directly on your mobile.

Effective protection against manipulation and burglary

VibraSense is designed to detect attempted intrusions even before a door, window or pane of glass is opened. The advanced vibration detection makes the sensor particularly effective in protecting against:

  • shocks and strong vibrations

  • drilling

  • break attempt

This provides an extra layer of security compared to traditional magnetic contacts.

Built-in SOS button – extra security when needed

In addition to burglary protection, SecureX VibraSense has a built-in SOS button which can be used as an emergency alarm. With a simple press, an alarm is sent via the SecureX system.

The SOS function is ideal for:

  • elderly people

  • homes in need of extra security

  • healthcare and social care environments

  • situations where quick help is needed

A clear LED indicator confirms that the alarm has been activated.

Easy installation & long battery life

VibraSense is mounted quickly and easily with the included double-sided adhesive tape – without any wiring. The sensor is powered by 1 × A23 12V battery and has low power consumption, which provides up to 2 years standby time during normal use.

Part of the SecureX system

SecureX VibraSense is a sensor for SecureX and is always used together with the SecureX hub.

  • The sensor connects to the SecureX hub

  • Alarms and notifications are managed via the hub

  • Compatibility with Tuya and Smart Life are done via the hub

  • The sensor cannot be used standalone

This applies to this product and all SecureX sensors.

Frequently asked questions
What is SecureX VibraSense?
SecureX VibraSense is a wireless vibration sensor that warns of impacts, drilling and attempts to break into, for example, doors, windows, glass and other vulnerable objects.
Do I need a SecureX hub to use VibraSense?
Yes. VibraSense only works with a SecureX hub and cannot be used standalone.
What does VibraSense protect against?
It is designed to detect impacts such as knocking, impact, drilling and breaking attempts on the surface where it is mounted.
Where can I mount VibraSense?
Mount it on the surface you want to protect, such as windows, doors, glass surfaces, safes, electrical cabinets or other objects.
How should it be installed for best results?
The surface should be clean, dry and flat. Mount the sensor vertically for best sensitivity and press it firmly.
Is there any way I can avoid false alarms?
Avoid locations with constant vibration and avoid uneven or porous surfaces. Also make sure the sensor is securely mounted.
What wireless technology does VibraSense use?
It communicates via 433 MHz (EV1527) with SecureX encoding via the hub.
How long is the range of VibraSense?
Up to at least 100 meters in clear line of sight. Indoors, the range is often shorter due to walls, metal and other obstacles.
What battery does VibraSense use?
It uses 1 A23 12V battery.
How long does the battery last?
It has low power consumption and can have a long battery life under normal use. Exact time depends on environment, settings and how often it alarms.
What temperature range can VibraSense handle?
It is designed for −10 °C to +50 °C.
How do I pair VibraSense with the hub?
Insert the battery, put the hub into learning mode and trigger the sensor with a light vibration or tap. Then confirm in the app that the device has been added. The first pairing should be done near the hub.
How do I test that it works?
Lightly tap the surface where the sensor is mounted and check that you receive an alarm or notification in the app.
What do the LED indications mean?
Blue LED flashes when detected or alarm. Red LED may indicate low battery level.
Does VibraSense have an SOS button?
Yes, it has a built-in SOS or panic function that can send emergency alerts via the SecureX hub.
Will I receive notifications on my phone?
Yes, via the hub you can receive push notifications in the Stonehouse Smart app.
Does the alarm work without internet?
Yes, the alarm itself works locally via the hub. Internet is required for push notifications, remote access and history in the app.
What do I do if I don't receive any notification when an alarm occurs?
Check that the sensor is connected to the hub and that notifications are enabled in the app.
What do I do if it won't pair?
Make sure the hub is in pairing mode and that you are standing close to the hub during the first pairing.
What do I do if the range feels short?
Place the sensor closer to the hub and avoid obstacles/metal between the devices or purchase SecureX SignalMax.
