The hard drive can handle recording from up to 64 HD cameras in compatible systems and is optimized for simultaneous storage of multiple video streams.

Adapted for continuous operation

CMR recording technology

The hard drive uses CMR, Conventional Magnetic Recording. This technology provides consistent and predictable write performance during continuous recording and is therefore well suited for NVR systems and camera surveillance.

256 MB cache and SATA 6 Gb/s

SkyHawk Health Management can monitor the hard drive status in compatible NVR systems and help identify potential storage problems.

The hard drive also supports S.M.A.R.T., which enables compatible systems to read information about the disk's health and functionality.
