Analyzer unit for GD 475 broken glass detectors which together are approved according to EN class/grade 3. There are 3 relays in the analyzer; alarm, error and opening protection/interruption. A maximum of 20 detectors can be connected to an IU 400, 10 detectors are recommended. The IU 400 monitors the voltage on the loop and signals Error if the loop voltage changes. The loop voltage is "programmed" (determined) when the plant is put into operation.
