The Apollo 58000-700APO Discovery Series multi-sensor optical and thermal detector uses both optical and thermal sensors to provide a combined signal and a separate thermal signal to more effectively manage false alarms.

The detector is particularly useful for applications where smoke and temperature changes can occur simultaneously, making it an excellent choice for environments such as hotel rooms and hospital wards.

It is equipped with five operating modes that allow the sensitivity to be adjusted to suit different applications, from smoke detection in common environments to dealing with slow-burning or smoldering fires.

Drift compensation ensures that the detector maintains constant sensitivity over time and in varying environmental conditions.
