Electric strike STEP 28E Secure is a high-quality electric strike designed for left-hung doors where security, fire protection and the possibility of escape are to be combined.

It is used in conjunction with 12 mm bolt locks in the Modul series and has a reverse function that keeps the plate locked in the de-energized position – a critical feature for safety-rated installations.

Thanks to its fire rating up to E/EI 60, STEP 28E is often used in door environments where emergency escape locks according to SS-EN 179 are required, in combination with door automation or pull handles.

The plate is equipped with a microswitch and dual indicators (piston and latch contact) for connection to an access control system, alarm system or other monitoring.

With a breaking strength of over 15 kN and resistance to strip pressure of up to 500 kg, the electric strike plate can withstand even very demanding environments.

The robust, knock-proof stainless steel construction ensures long durability. Comes complete with 5 meters of halogen-free connection cable.
