STEP 28E Secure is a reverse electric strike for left-hung doors, fire rated up to E/EI 60. Fits 7 mm bolt locks in the Connect series and includes 5 m halogen-free cable. High security, tamper-proof and compatible with access control systems.

Electric strike STEP 28E Secure is an advanced electric strike that combines high security, fire requirements and the possibility of door automation – perfect for use in escape routes.

With its reverse function (locked in de-energized position), this plate is particularly suitable where safety requires that the door remains locked in the event of a power failure.

It is developed for left-hung doors and is used with a deadbolt lock or deadbolt lock with a 7 mm bolt, which provides excellent intrusion protection.

STEP 28E is fire rated up to E/EI 60 and is often part of installations with emergency escape locks according to SS-EN 179.

The product has a built-in microswitch and indication that allows connection to an access control system, alarm or monitoring to check whether the door is closed and locked.

With a breaking strength of over 15 kN and resistance to strip pressure of up to 5 kN, it works even in demanding environments.
