The STEP 40 Preload electric strike is a versatile and reliable electric strike in STEP's Preload series, designed to function in demanding door environments where high opening frequency and safe function are important.

This version is switchable between forward and reverse function, which means you can easily choose whether the lock should be locked or unlocked in the event of a power failure - without having to change the product.

STEP 40 is equipped with patented HPR® technology, which enables unlocking even when the door is subjected to strip pressure of up to 250 kg. With a breaking strength of 1,200 kg, the electric strike is designed to deliver long-lasting, secure function even under intensive use.

The product is factory tested for 1,500,000 cycles, making it ideal for doors with high throughput.

The compact format and reversible design make installation easy in both right- and left-hung doors.

The electric strike plate is also tamper-proof, has a built-in protection diode, and fits both single and double-leaf locks.
