Thanks to its reversible feature, it can be easily configured as forward facing (locked without power) or reverse facing (unlocked without power), providing maximum flexibility in installation.

With STEP's patented HPR® strip pressure technology, the door opens even when subjected to a pressure of up to 250 kg, making the electric strike a reliable choice even in high-stress environments.

The sheet metal is tested for over 1.5 million cycles and has a breaking strength of a whopping 1,200 kg.

Built-in piston contact provides a reliable indication of whether the door is closed or open, and can be easily integrated with access control systems or alarm systems.

STEP 40 is reversible for right- and left-hand doors and has a compact design that fits in tight spaces or older door environments.
