STEP 40 is an electric strike with adjustable function and piston contact, designed for safe and reliable day locking. Equipped with HPR® technology, it can withstand high profile pressure and is factory tested for long durability.

The STEP 40 Preload HPR electric strike is a high-quality electric strike with both adjustable function and piston contact, which is ideal for day locking in security environments.

It is designed to provide high operational reliability and long service life, and is part of STEP's Preload series that combines minimal dimensions with high quality and flexibility.

The switchable function allows STEP 40 to be either forward facing or reverse facing (locked or unlocked in de-energized position), providing a flexible solution for different installation needs.

With the patented HPR® technology, the door can be opened even when subjected to a pressure of up to 250 kg, ensuring reliable operation even in tough conditions.

The plunger switch also provides an indication of the door's closed/open status, which increases functionality.

Factory tested for up to 1,500,000 cycles, STEP 40 is a durable solution for both single and double latch locks. It is also tamper-proof and reversible for both right- and left-hand doors, making it easy to install in different door systems.
