STEP 60 Silent is a quiet and powerful electric strike with reverse function and 10 m cable. With piston contact, fire class E/EI120 and high breaking strength, it is perfect for doors that are used frequently and require a low noise level.

The STEP 60 Silent electric strike is an advanced electric strike from STEP's Silent series, specially developed for environments where quiet and smooth operation is a requirement.

Thanks to its robust construction and STEP's patented Silent technology, it delivers a virtually silent operation, making it ideal for schools, offices, hospitals or multi-family properties.

With reverse function – meaning the door is unlocked in a de-energized position – STEP 60 meets important requirements in escape routes and access control systems.

The product is fire rated up to E/EI120 and tested according to SS-EN 14846:2008. It can withstand strip pressure of up to 100 kg and has an impressive breaking strength of 16 kN (approx. 1600 kg).

It is equipped with a built-in plunger and latch contact, which provides status indication for open/closed and locked/unlocked positions – perfect for integration with alarms or access control.

It is tamper-proof, has a built-in protection diode and comes with a 10-meter halogen-free connection cable for flexible installation.
