The product is part of STEP's Preload series and is equipped with the patented HPR® molding technology.

It enables safe unlocking even with a strip pressure of up to 250 kg, which is crucial in door environments with sealing strips or pressure from automatic door automation.

STEP 90 is fire-approved up to E/EI 120 according to SS-EN 14846:2008 and tested to withstand 1200 kg breaking strength.

The right-facing function means that the panel is locked in a de-energized position, which is standard in safety-critical installations.

The product is reversible and fits both right- and left-hung doors as well as lock housings in the Connect, Modul and Narrow Profile series.
